RULES & REGULATIONS
JOINING
1. We currently only accept original wrestlers that you yourself have created. We don't need someone RPing as Triple H and claiming to be a 12-time World Champion. You're character can be similar to a real life person, but use common sense and try to not make them too similar. On the other hand, we do require that you pick a real life person as your character's picture base for use in graphics and as a visual aid. We encourage you to use wrestlers for this, but other celebrities are not off limits.
2. You are limited to either 2 singles wrestlers or one tag team. You are also limited to a maximum of two managers or valets. One is probably plenty, but I figure some people might want a male manager and a female valet, and that's acceptable.
3. We do not currently accept female wrestlers. We do not like the idea of booking men versus women on a regular basis, but if there is enough demand that we feel the need to create a women's division, we will do so at that time.
ROLEPLAY LIMITS & DEADLINES
1. There is a MAXIMUM of 1 roleplays per person.
3. For pay-per-views, there will be a limit of 2 RPs per person for singles matches and 2 per team for tag team matches.
4. A shorter version of the RPing limits and deadlines will be posted in every match thread, so pay attention in case any changes are made.
ROLEPLAY GUIDELINES
1. Grammar. There is nothing worse than reading an RP with bad grammar. If you haven't mastered the English language, find a grammar and spell checker of some sort, whether in Word or on the internet. They're out there.
2. Find a happy medium with length. I personally hate really long RPs. They drag out and get boring and it just comes off as you're trying to win by quantity or repeating yourself or just doing something really boring when you could break it into two RPs or something. There will be a Word Count limit posted in the card, so make sure you take the time to read them.
3. We're not prudes. Cursing is okay, but not in large amounts. Let's not find 50 instances of the work fuck in that RP, okay?
4. Character development RPs are sometimes great, but they won't help you as much towards your match as an RP where you talk about your opponent. If you can do a little bit of both, now that's awesome.
5. Don't just up and challenge your opponent to a tables match in an RP (I did that when I first started). Ideally, I would like any storyline developments and such to happen on shows, but exceptions can be made. Staff & GM doors are always open.
6. Using another person's character in your roleplays is off limits unless you have their permission and attacking another person's character in your roleplay is strictly off limits, with or without permission.
STORYLINES, ETC.
1. If you would like anything particular to happen in your match, a certain feud or storyline to occur, or a segment to take place, contact me and let me know. I do my best to accomodate everybody and make sure they are happy when it comes to the way their character is used.
2. You WILL be called upon to write a segment involving your character on a given show. We sometimes to this to make sure someone's character is written properly. If you are assigned this task, please get your segment in in a timely fashion so we're not waiting on it to post the show. If you don't someone else will right it, then no one will be happy.
3. If you win by DQ or interference or something of that nature, that's not taking anything away from your RP performance. Sometimes angles like that just have to be done for the sake of a storyline. You still out-RPed your opponent.
OTHER
1. These rules are obviously subject to change and the institution of new rules as I see fit.
2. If you have any questions, comments, complaints or whathaveyou, feel free to contact me. I'm always open to anything that improves the fed. Let's do lunch.
